Cross-Docking Logistics Platform for NEDERVAL
PROJECT EVOLUTION
THE CHALLENGE
The main challenge of the project was the development of a cross-docking logistics platform in the industrial area of Las Atalayas (Alicante), designed to support the operations of a company within the parcel delivery and last-mile distribution sector.
The client entrusted ASPOR Engineering with the technical development of a modern asset capable of meeting demanding requirements in terms of goods rotation, operational efficiency, and logistics flow coordination.
The objective was to design and deliver a facility optimized for cross-docking operations, enabling rapid sorting and dispatch of parcels, while incorporating solutions to ensure functionality, construction quality, and strong positioning within the regional logistics market.
OUR SOLUTION
ASPOR Engineering participated in all phases of the project, from initial site analysis and technical design to construction supervision and final delivery of the asset.
The team undertook the development of the Basic Design and Detailed Design under BIM methodology, including full building modeling and the implementation of technical solutions aimed at optimizing the layout for high-turnover operations and continuous logistics flows.
During the construction phase, ASPOR carried out Construction Supervision, Health & Safety Coordination, and quality control, overseeing the execution of the works and ensuring compliance with all technical, regulatory, and scheduling requirements.
In parallel, all necessary administrative procedures were managed, including permits, utility connections, and regulatory approvals, ensuring the proper commissioning of the facility.
Thanks to this comprehensive involvement, an efficient and functional logistics platform was successfully delivered, fully adapted to the requirements of the parcel delivery sector and aligned with current logistics industry standards.
